How to Survive When Bad Things Happen

Why us? Why do bad things happen to God's (or some ask to good) people? That's a question some of us will ask and may or may never get a clear answer.

(1) If God is holy and good, how did evil come into existence?

(2) What purpose does God have for continuing to allow bad things to happen?
Evil and suffering are sometimes allowed and used by God:
- In ways that we cannot and do not understand. (John 9:1)
- To deepen and mature the relationship He has with His children. (Job)

(3) How did Job, as one of God's beloved children, survive when bad things happened?

Life is hard, but it is going to get harder. (Matthew 24:6-8)
